UI/UX design and Product Development services for Rytmo by Halo Lab

About the project

Rytmo is a mobile-first solution developed with a major corporate research laboratory. It integrates wearable biosensing technology and advanced machine learning models to provide real-time cardiovascular monitoring.

The system connects to custom hardware devices (OmniBuds) via Bluetooth, collects physiological data, and processes it locally on the smartphone for privacy. Users can view intuitive dashboards, generate reports, and securely share insights with healthcare providers.

Challenge

The Rytmo team aimed to bring continuous heart monitoring out of hospitals and into daily life. Fragmented, complex tools missed critical health events between visits, so they needed a patient-first, privacy-focused solution with real-time insights and seamless end-to-end delivery.

Our process

Throughout the project, we focused on turning a research prototype into a reliable, patient-ready mobile solution that works seamlessly with custom wearable hardware.

Results

The Rytmo MVP showed that continuous heart monitoring is possible through a simple, wearable mobile device. Patients easily paired devices, collected biosignal data, and viewed reports without training — crucial for real-world use. Although external KPIs are still being developed, the solution has moved beyond concept, showing strong potential for wider healthtech use and future clinical collaborations.
